In attention of candidates of the English section
Results will be published on 23 July 2025, around 18:00 (Romanian time).
Candidates who have participated in the admission contest, were accepted and have already confirmed their attendance at another University or Faculty are kindly asked to let us know at the following e-mail address: admission.fmvt@usvt.ro, about their situation in order to avoid further misunderstandings in the process of admission from our faculty!!!
The candidates that have been declared admitted at FVM Timișoara must confirm by paying the enrollment tax (32 Euro for UE and 100 Euro for NON-UE) and the sum of 4000 Euro (the first part of the tuition fee, which will not be reimbursed in case the student changes his mind in the meantime) by 24 July 2025, 14:00 (Romanian time). The proof of payment will be transmitted on e-mail to: admission.fmvt@usvt.ro.
After this date, the vacancies will be completed with candidates found on the waiting list, according to their grade averages. They will be announced by e-mail subsequently and they must confirm in the same manner as stated above until 25th July 2025, respectively 28th July 2025, 14:00 (Romanian time). If vacancies are left even after this stage, they will be set aside for the session that will take place in September 2025.
The second payment (the difference of 3000 Euros) must be paid by 28 September 2025, 14:00 (Romanian time).
The candidates who have confirmed their attendance must have the documents necessary for the completion of their file upon them on 29th September 2025 (the beginning of the university year): original and legalized translation by notary copies of their Baccalaureate Diplomas, Releve des notes (where it exists), transcripts of grades from ALL high school years and of the birth certificate.
Non-completion of the file with the solicited documents attracts the expulsion of the student from the faculty!

Please do not forget to mention the name of the student and the tuition fee for first year in english (2025 - 2026) on the bank documents.
Upon registration, candidates shall present the original study and identity documents from the application file, together with their passport with a valid visa for the purpose of"studies". Admitted foreign candidates from third countries are required to enter the country with their passport with a valid visa for the purpose of "studies", which they shall present upon registration.
Original study documents issued in states that are parties to the Hague Apostille Convention must be endorsed by the competent authorities in the issuing countries with the Hague Apostille (https://cnred.edu.ro/en/list-of-countries-for-which-the-authentication-of-study-documents-is-requested/)
Original study documents issued in states that are not parties to the Hague Apostille Convention will be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the issuing country and by the Romanian embassy/consular office in the respective country. Admitted candidates are required to enter the country with a study visa and to legalize their stay in Romania for study purposes.
In order to meet the requirement of legal residence on the territory of Romania during the period of studies, admitted candidates are required to obtain the necessary documents to attest to this. Therefore, EU/EEA/Swiss Confederation citizens must obtain a registration certificate from the competent authorities on the territory of Romania, based on supporting documents. Foreign citizens from third countries, based on the presentation of a study visa and other supporting documents, must obtain a residence permit from the competent authorities. Admitted candidates who fall into the category of Romanians from everywhere and do not have Romanian citizenship must obtain, as the case may be, a residence permit.

For EU Member States, EEA and Swiss Confederation citizens:
Application submission
- at the Faculty (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, 119 Calea Aradului, 300645 Timisoara, Romania)
Candidates have to prepare 2 files:
- one for the Ministry (see CNRED instruction - https://cnred.edu.ro/en/recognition-studies-european-citizens-admission-undergraduate-studies-in-romania/)
- one for the Faculty (see the following requirements):
Required documents

1. Application form (EU citizens) clik here;
2. Proof of completion of secondary school (high school Diploma/Certificate) - copy and legalized translation (original) in Romanian language (legalized by a notary).
In accordance with the provisions of REG. (EU) 2016/1191, for candidates who have completed their studies in France, translations of documents by an authorized person from France are accepted, without the need for further legalization.
3. Proof of completion (transcript of the records) for ALL years of high-school completed abroad, with subjects and obtained marks/points - copy and legalized translation (original) in Romanian language (certified by a notary)
4. Identification paper - copy:
- passport / identity card,
- proof of legal name change - copy and legalized translation (original) in Romanian language (certified by a notary)
5. Other documents, if necessary
- Example: provisional certificate of Maturita from Italy, Pruebas de Aptitud para el Acceso a la Universidad, Calificación Apto from Spain; eligibility certificate issued by Verket för högskoleservice from Sweden, SAT/ACT scores from USA, copy and certified translation in Romanian, except for the documents issued in English, French, Spanish, Italian
- Example: Foreign citizens, family members of Romanian citizens, holders of a temporary residence permit, must submit the proof either of an employment contract or of unemployment status in order to benefit, according to the law, of equal treatment as Romanian citizens, regarding the study enrolment (OUG no. 194/2002 on the Regime of Aliens in Romania, republished, art. 80 paragraph (3), lit. B) and c))
6. Birth certificate - copy and legalized translation (original) in Romanian language (certified by a notary)
7. Health certificate - copy and legalized translation in Romanian, except for the documents issued in English, French, Spanish, Italian
8. Copy of the 100 Euro receipt – file processing fee (150 euro for those who apply for both lines)
9. B2 English proficiency Certificate
10. 3 colour photographs ¾ centimeters.
11. Preparatory year diploma or certificate of proficiency in Romanian, for those applying for Romanian line.

Submitting the application

Candidates have to prepare 2 identical files: the application folder for the University, and the application folder requiring the delivery of the Letter of Acceptance addressed towards the Ministry.

3. Proof of completion (transcript of records) for ALL years of high-school completed abroad;
4. Identification papers:
- passport
- Identity card where the residence must be clearly specified,
- proof of legal name change, if applicable.

6. Medical certificate (in an international language) proving that the person which is to be enrolled at the faculty does not suffer from contagious diseases or other illnesses that are incompatible with the future profession
ALL these 8 documents MUST be sent in authenticated copies and certified translation (ORIGINAL) in Romanian language!!!

For citizens of the State of Israel, a psychometric entrance test is required (copy and certified translation (original) in Romanian language (certified by either a notary or an authorized translator)
